Been researching how to generate your own leads easily and effortlessly without getting your offer pushed back at you and rejection?
If you’ve been struggling on learning how to generate your own leads to get serious enquiries about your business but really want to find them, you’re in no better place than this blog post. At first, learning how to generate your own leads may seem daunting as there are so many different directions and avenues to do this.
You need to know where to look and work out who the right people to talk to are. It is however how you get the best quality leads for your business as opposed to buying leads or cold calling (here is my previous post on How to Generate Leads Without Cold Calling).
Did you know that you can generate lead as easily as asking someone a question? Let’s say you are talking to someone you meet at a cocktail party or when you’re out and about…you guys get chatty (English term lol!) and really hit it off. You find out they’re not happy in their career and are not making enough money.
You could say something along the lines of “hey just to throw this out there, this may not be a fit for you at all whatsoever, but, we actually help a lot of people in [their industry] make a full time income working on a part time basis. Would you be open to hearing more about what we do?”
You could ask this question on social media too, let’s say you are catching up with a friend from high school. Now the important part is that some rapport is built AND there is pain in their life. Typically if someone is going through some kind of transition in their life e.g. moving cities, risk of losing their job, divorce then that person is more open.
So it’s your job to be the detective and find out what their pain is. They may not have any pain and so if that’s the case, move on to the next person. If you get ANY resistance whatsoever then again, move on – don’t start bashing people as they are allowed their opinions. I never get into arguments and I don’t suggest that you do either for any reason.
