More than likely you’re researching into if you should buy leads for home based business, and it could be because you’re burnt out from trying other ways to prospect or you just want more leverage.

Is it true that if you buy leads for home based business, you got scammed?

This is a question that a lot of people wonder about, and the truth is that it really depends on the quality of the leads you buy. Unfortunately the quality can vary and it can be hard to find a legitimate vendor. There are factors such as how the leads have been generated, how old the leads are and if other people have already contacted these leads before you get your hands on them!

If you can’t find answers to these questions, it’s probably best to avoid and keep searching, or to find another way to generate leads for your business. The only thing that ‘dud’ leads would be good for is practice when talking to prospects, and although practice makes perfect you would stand a better chance at converting leads if they are better quality.

It’s not just the number of leads you talk to (although the law of numbers can work in your favour). It’s the quality of leads you need to consider, and how many of those leads will actually get in front of your company presentation…and pay attention to it! If you can’t get any of the leads you buy to do this, it could be possible the lead source is not sustainable and alternatives should be looked into.

My final thoughts about buying leads are that although this is one way of building your business, it shouldn’t be relied upon and you should spend the time generating your own leads that reached out to you first.

This is much more powerful than you personally chasing people all day, imagine if people came to you requesting more information about your business? Even if you only had a few people per day reaching out to you, this could try set you up for success before you even start prospecting for the day.
