Which home business marketing strategies get the most exposure and results?
Running a business from home and are looking to boost exposure? Today I’ll share 3 home business marketing strategies to boost your lead flow and get more people looking at your opportunity without being rejected!
A lot of marketers are over the top with their business because they are excited about sharing the opportunity.
1 – Get on social media and get social.
Now to be clear, sharing your company’s products or the business opportunity 7 times a day aren’t the type of home business marketing strategies I’m referring to! Your goal is to get people interested in YOU and your brand. Do this through text, media and pictures to stand out.
Why is that important? Otherwise, people will just go and seek out someone else who is positioning themselves as a leader! You position yourself as a leader by acting like a leader on social media. Create your OWN value based posts that solve problems in the home business industry, instead of moaning about the weather and Trump!
2 – Create content that will be there for the long run.
Social media is a great way to get your message out there, but a status post or video you did a week ago is more or less gone and won’t be likely to resurface. The solution is to create a blog that you own and control. If I create content, usually it’s something that we call ‘evergreen’ content, which basically means it’ll be timeless.
The goal of running a business is leverage, and putting content on a blog where people can discover it later without me doing any extra work is creating that leverage. I like to do the work ONCE and get paid time and time again. How about you?
3 – Connect on the phone or video chat.
Often times this is faster than playing email or Facebook messenger ping-pong! The benefit of video chat is being able to screen share and show people your business. This is not always possible though if the other person is travelling etc, so it may be best to just type or send videos or voice notes in some cases. I generally don’t spend a lot of time chasing people to get them on the phone though.
If it’s to do with them being afraid to talk on the phone or they just won’t make the time for you, then they probably won’t call their own prospects (that’s if they even go out and get them!) or make time for team training. How you do one thing is really how you do all things!
