Are you looking to increase MLM retention in your organisation? Concerned that people are cutting off their auto ships too fast?
This is a BIG problem that so many network marketers face when building their business. They go out and recruit like crazy but can’t seem to keep MLM retention on an upward climb.
Their business is almost like a revolving door where people go in and out all day long. Isn’t that a frustrating thought? Today I’ll share 3 ways you can help stop teammates drop off your team like flies.
1 – Find a way to get your new reps to cover the cost of their auto ship in their first month or sooner.
Chances are, your new person is likely worried about their business becoming a liability rather than an asset.
They may not think this at first due to the excitement most people have when they start virtually any new project. When that excitement wears off, however, they are now set back into reality where they have to pay bills.
To combat this, are there some strategies that a newbie apply to learn how to generate your own leads in your first week? Can you run some opportunity webinars and all your prospect has to do is invite them to the webinar? The faster someone gets some kind of result, even if it’s small, the better your MLM retention will be.
2 – Give so much value to your team that they would feel stupid not to stay active.
Now the goal is not to make your downline feel stupid of course – but only if they were to quit because you were giving them an immense amount of value. Much more than they expected or more than their previous uplines or leaders gave them.
It could be in the form of training webinars, a Facebook group or a private membership site for active distributors only. You would maybe have to police people who are no longer active and remove them to make it fair for those who are still paying, but I have definitely noticed that MLM retention has increased since I did this.
3 – Run competitions exclusive to your team, that anybody has a chance of winning.
This is a cool thing to do that I rarely see anyone other than true leaders do, or if there are competitions it’s only ever ones that reward the top producers. You could maybe do a cash giveaway or something cool like an iPad. Maybe offer a ‘best effort’ or ‘best newcomer’ prize that can’t be won by a top recruiter.
If you calculate things correctly, you won’t be out of pocket offering prizes, as long as it is based on team production and you check your comp plan to make sure you can offer a prize that is still affordable to you. You can always offer 1 on 1 coaching as a prize, or speak to an upline in your organisation who might be happy to do the same.
Let me know if these MLM retention tips helped you! Let’s keep people active instead of recruiting constantly. 🙂
