At the MLSP Live the Dream event in Austin Texas, I grabbed Norbert Orlewicz aside and he shares the importance of using paid marketing to get your message out but the most time-efficient way is to use paid marketing. Chances are if you’re running your business on a part time basis, have a family to look after and other time consuming obligations, then you maybe have 2-3 hours per day to build if you’re lucky.
What Norbert recommends is going into paid traffic as early as possible to leverage your time and to get the right people finding you quickly. I agree with this as you need two strategies to build your business and I talk about this a lot; active prospecting and passive prospecting.
Doing paid traffic using Facebook ads is an example of passive prospecting, and calling your list of 100 is active prospecting. Actively going out and getting leads can be a great way to raise money but if that’s all you’re doing and you have no passive lead sources, then if you stop being active your income stops!
Your reach is only as much as you can personally do when you actively prospect, but when you passively build it’s like having an army of people going out to share your message. I’ve even used paid marketing to help me quickly Hit a New MLM Company Rank.
