All you have to do is get five who get five who get five and you will be sipping pina coladas on the beach with your toes in hot sand looking over clear blue water on the restful beaches of the Caribbean.
Just FIVE. and they’ll find five who will do the rest. Right?
A blind monkey with one arm could find five people. You know that.
So you rip out a spare piece of paper out of your diary and you hurriedly make a list of 100 people you know would LOVE this go out and talk to your friends and family about the business and products like your upline tells you to do, and you find out that everyone you talk to is either very negative about the company or the products, or both. Or they are just flat out NOT interested.
So you get rejection and a lot of pushback. A LOT.
You try to convince people as to why they should join to get them to change their minds but they are having none of it.
Soon friends don’t answer your phone calls or texts when you want to go hang out at the movies or dinner because they think you’re going to talk about ‘that deal’ all over again. Not what you expected, right?
Big problem is, your warm market a.k.a. people you know, is very limited and it’s only a matter of time before you get through your list.
You can see more and more names getting crossed off your list and your list of 100 soon turns into 50. Then 25.
You wonder if you should carry on because you’ve had so much rejection. Despite that you keep burning through everyone you know.
Then you get down to 10 names. then counting down one by one…finally, POOF!
