Should you buy MLM leads to grow your business? What’s the pros and cons?
Maybe you’re doing research before you buy MLM leads as you feel it will be a helping hand in getting prospects to look at your business.
If so, I totally hear your reasoning and logic however there’s some important things to know before you start buying leads. Today you’ll learn the good and the bad about buying leads so you can make an informed decision on purchasing lead lists.
One important thing you must always explore is the quality of the leads that you purchase, and while there are some legitimate lead vendors out there you can buy MLM leads from, there are also some that sell ‘recycled’ leads which have been used by many other marketers. Be sure that the leads are fresh and have not been accessed by others for marketing purposes.
Another cause for concern is how long ago the leads registered their interest to start a business. The more time that has elapsed since the lead requested more information, the less likely they are to be interested (typically). Also, if you are dealing with outdated information bear in mind that people move, change phone numbers, pass way etc.
Even if you DO buy MLM leads and get ‘bad batch’ then you can at least get good on the phone by calling them. If you struggle with being on the phone, then this is a great way to practice!
You may not get the best response, especially if the leads don’t have a lot of interest or don’t know you before you call, but the practice will be invaluable for when you DO generate high quality prospects.
Ideally, if you can create content that your prospects view before you talk to them, they could be sold before you even pick up the phone! This is the best way to generate high quality leads…create value based content that solves problems in the marketplace, and then as a call to action ask the viewer of the content to contact you for more tips and training.
