You might have heard of the 5 Day MLM Mastery Bootcamp by David Wood, this is a free bootcamp for not only David’s team in his primary business and MLSP, but he has made it available to everyone (what a nice guy)!
All that he asks is for you to leave your first name and email to access Day 1 of the bootcamp, and the rest will be sent to your email inbox. That’s an awesome deal considering the massive amount of value he is giving away…he could be charging a fortune for each of these videos.
In this review I will be breaking down briefly what is in each day of the bootcamp, and give each video a rank out of 10. At the end of this review I’ll also be showing you what I did to ensure that I got the most out of this bootcamp (most people would NEVER do this).
Day #1: The Fundamental Building Blocks Of MLM – This module gave insight as to what this DVD bootcamp is really about, and the first day includes David’s quick MLM story as part of his introduction in the video. It also includes understanding MLM, how Network Marketing is NOT Affiliate Marketing and finally, the power of a Mastermind group.
David will also give you the opportunity to work with a mastermind that will help you every step of the way in order to achieve success together. Brilliant first training video.
Day #1 rating: 9/10
Day #2: MLM Sponsoring secrets of the top producers – David shows proof of him actively sponsoring people into MLSP and his primary company (most ‘gurus’ would chicken out on this one)! Today, he talks about recruiting being the #1 skill in MLM.
David also outlines why people don’t join and why people do join…this is followed up by real examples of what’s working now to sponsor distributors. Did you know that it’s the same stuff that has ALWAYS worked? As a final touch you will be shown how to reformulate your plan and create the ‘magical funnel’ that will sponsor 8 in 10 people who go through the funnel.
Incredibly informative, Day #2 exposes why you need a simple but effective funnel rather than a complicated funnel which is difficult to duplicate to your team.
Day #2 rating: 9.5/10
Day #3: Duplication Secrets to build your team to 100,000 people – David begins Day #3 telling you the true story of how he personally got started in Network Marketing (this blew me away)…he discusses the easy way to simplify duplication to EVERYONE, and why you might be putting people off getting started with you in your MLM business.
One thing you MUST look out for in Day #3 is the Real Secret to help your team grow on a massive scale together. You will also learn what to change and what not to change – this part of the video was vitally important or you might be completely wasting all your efforts.
Just so you know, a pink elephant has EVERYTHING to do with Day #3 (you’ll see what I mean in the course…)
Day #3 rating: 9/10
Day #4: Attraction Marketing concepts to explode your recruiting – Attraction Marketing is truly defined by David Wood, as well as leveraging the power of it to create irresistible ‘pull’ for your prospects. He will also explain why you don’t need 20-30 leads a day to start sponsoring people into your MLM opportunity.
Another valid point – don’t always listen to the ‘gurus’ who will sell you stuff even though they’re not actively building a downline themselves! That’s a little bit hypocritical right? Oh yeah, and of course Day #4 is finished with the stupidest story you’ve probably ever heard…
Day #4 rating: 10/10
Day #5: Leadership Secrets of the world’s greatest MLM leaders – in the final day of the bootcamp, leadership will become clearly defined, especially when it comes to thinking big and ACTING big. It’s also possible to duplicate leadership; David will show you how to do this (as well as keeping them – get out of their way and let them build your business!)…the bootcamp is wrapped up neatly like a perfectly wrapped present, with everything intact (nothing was left ‘unsaid’ in this course).
Day #5 rating: 8.5/10
Overall Pro’s: Well introduced to those who have never heard of David or his previous work. Was sent straight to the video after opting in, without any ‘One Time Offer’ bulls**t that most people with a similar bootcamp would attempt to promote. Awesome telling of fantastic stories that allow you to use your imagination when it comes to understanding how to build an MLM business online.
Overall Con’s: David Wood actually DOES market promotional material – however it is only two things:
- Downloadable audio MP3 versions of the bootcamp costing $47, includes two bonus MP3 files…now you can listen to this bootcamp wherever you are on your MP3 player, iPod etc. (NOTE: I had actually purchased this…it was absolutely worth it and I’d recommend you do the same ONLY if you will have the time to actually listen to them).
- A Mastermind application is offered – this is an invitation to join David’s personal business opportunity, but be warned that it’s NOT open to everyone.
On the other hand, David does not promote any other product at the end of the bootcamp. For this I respect him, this is truly a man who cares more about giving value than making a quick buck. By all means he can monetise this bootcamp, therefore I don’t consider this a massive con by itself.

It’s really helpful to have an idea what’s in these various bootcamps and courses before investing time in watching or listening to them. I’ll check this out, since you recommend it so highly.
One thing to remember with David Wood is that although he’s very new to internet marketing, he’s been around in MLM for a pretty long time. This means two things:
1. He knows what he’s talking about
2. He has developed an built up the mindset and skillset required to succeed over a long time, so repeating his exact formulas for success may not yield instant results for the newcomer.
